Who runs this service

Monaqasat.online is an independent tender-intelligence service for Qatar public procurement. It is not affiliated with the Ministry of Finance or the official Monaqasat procurement portal. For any question about this policy or about your data, write to privacy@monaqasat.online.

What we collect

Account data. If you create an account we store your email address and, where you choose to provide them, your company name and the activity categories you select during onboarding. Accounts are handled by Supabase, our authentication provider. If you sign in with Google or LinkedIn, we receive the email address associated with that account and nothing else.

Session cookies. Two cookies, sb-access-token and sb-refresh-token, keep you signed in. They are strictly necessary; without them the application cannot hold a session.

Usage analytics. We use PostHog (hosted in the European Union) to understand how the service is used — pages viewed, features opened, where visitors arrive from. Visitors are anonymous to us until they sign in or submit an email address. We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics and Google Analytics for aggregate traffic measurement.

What we do not collect. We do not collect payment card details on this site, we do not buy contact lists, and we do not track you across other websites.

Procurement data is not personal data

Most of what this service shows — tender records, award values, bidder participation and In-Country Value scores — is information about companies, published by Qatari government sources. It is business information, not personal data about you, and it is presented as aggregates and public record rather than as profiles of individuals.

Why we process it, and for how long

We process account data to provide the service you signed up for, and usage analytics to improve it. We keep account data for as long as your account exists, and delete it within 30 days of a deletion request. Analytics data is retained in aggregate.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and you can object to analytics processing, by writing to privacy@monaqasat.online. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe, and we honour opt-outs immediately. You can also block analytics cookies in your browser; the service will continue to work.

If you believe a company record shown here is inaccurate, tell us and we will check it against the source. We publish only what the official sources publish.

Where data is held

The site is hosted on Netlify. Authentication runs on Supabase and analytics on PostHog's EU infrastructure. Procurement records are held in a managed database. Some of these providers operate outside Qatar, which means your account data may be processed abroad.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, for account holders, say so by email.
